Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Pineapple Punch Dressed to Impress Purse Treat Bag

Welcome everyone! I hope you are all doing ok. Today I have a special treat as I made a 3D project for you. If you don't know I have been doing a Farewell Tour of the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors from Stampin' Up! with me showing different projects all week with one of the colors. This week it was Pineapple Punch. Here is today's project.....

I thought this was the cutest thing when I saw it in the Mini catalog and could wait to make it. I decided to use the Pineapple Punch cardstock as the base and some of the Best Dressed DSP (Designer Series Paper) for the handles. I used Purple Posy as an accent color that I pulled from the DSP. I used it for the buckles on the handles, the closure piece, and the little pocket on the front.
I first started by stamping tone on tone the purse base with the flowers stamps in the set. For the flower on the pocket I colored it with the Stampin' Blends and popped it up with Dimensionals. The button on the closure piece is also a die cut from this set that I put a piece of white baker's twine through for an added touch. One of the details I love about this die is the stitched look on everything.
If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this cute purse, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
