Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Call Me Clover To A Wild Rose Friendship Card
Hi crafty people! Well we are midweek. Are you all still holding in there? Our temps have gone from early Spring straight to Summer in a matter of a week. We have been and will continue to be in the upper 80's. We usually don't turn our home AC on until June 1st, but yesterday it came on for the first time this year. I'm hoping that this is just a little heat wave and we are back to normal soon. How is your weather? Let's get onto today's card.....
I really love the beautiful rose in this set. Did you know that it is a 3-step stamping? There is the outline, shadow, and highlights stamp to make some gorgeous flowers. I decided to cut one step out by using the Petal Pink vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum pack as the highlight layer. I stamped the outline in black and then stamped the shadow layer in Petal Pink. I then die cut this piece out.
For the leaves I stamped the outline first and then I stamped the shadow layer followed by the highlight layer in which I, after inking up my stamp, stamped off on a piece of paper and then stamped onto the leave. I die cut these out too. I also die cut a piece of the Gold Glimmer paper. I embossed the Whisper White layer with the new Ornate Floral 3D folder. I glued down the gold piece and leaves and then put the rose down with Dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment, layered it, and placed it on my card.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a sentiment and placing a die cut in Petal Pink in the bottom corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store. Be aware that these items are selling out quickly and once gone they are gone for good so get your's today!
