Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Pineapple Punch Free As A Bird Thank You Card
Welcome everyone! It's another Tuesday and I'm in the middle of my Farewell Tour of the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors. Now even though the 2019-2020 annual catalog doesn't end until June 3rd it's very common for a lot of the retiring items to become unavailable early including all the retiring In Colors. So my advice to you is to get it all NOW before it's gone for good. Let's get to today's card.....
I love fussy cutting DSP (Designer Series Paper) images for my projects. That's what I did for this card. I picked out some of the flower bunches and a bird from the Bird Ballad DSP. I made sure the pieces I choose had a yellow tone to match my cardstock. In total I cut out three flower pieces and one bird.
Next, I embossed the Whisper White layer using the new Ornate Floral 3D folder. I glued this layer down. I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of Pool Party and die cut it out. I placed my fussy cut pieces where I wanted them on my card putting Dimensionals on a couple to pop them up. Finally, I placed a few embellies around my card as well.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a leaf in one corner and a sentiment. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.
