   Hello everyone! I don't know about you but this week seems like it is going on forever. I think it's all the staying home.    Hello again!!! How is everyone doing? We're still hanging in there. Yesterday our temps actually made it to 70°F!!! It was so nice to be able to have the windows open and some fresh air coming in the house. Is it warming up where you are? Let's get on to today's card.....

   Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Are you hanging in there? So far, so good here. We do live in a pretty rural area so that's keeping us safe, but still taking all the precautions. Yesterday we went to the store for an elderly neighbor who has severe lung issues and definitely shouldn't leave his house. I have decided to make cards for a local nursing home since they are on complete lockdown and family or friends can't visit. I thought it would bring some sunshine to them all. Let's get onto today's card.....      This is actually a pretty simple card that looks like it is so much harder to make then it is.  I only used one color of cardstock and ink pad. I created the background by first taking the ink pad and rubbing it onto the inside top of the embossing folder. You can make it as light or dark as you want. Then put your piece of cardstock into it and run it through your die cutting machine. And the fun part is every piece will be different....

   Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog. Can't believe we are already half way though the week. With this past Monday being a holiday my days are all mixed up now. Does this happen to you? Especially when it's at the beginning or end of the week. Let's get on to today's card.....      This suite is so cute! Between the stamps, punch, DSP (Designer Series Paper), and the really cute embellishment kit making these snowmen is just so much fun. The really cute hats, scarves, and mittens come in 4 different colors to match all your snowman projects.    I decided to give the background a winter look by embossing with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder. It is hard to tell in the pics, but the DSP has glitter on one side of it which gives the card a fun sparkle.    I also put some of the Shimmery Crystal Effects on the buttons of the the snowman to add some more sparkle.
