Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Grapefruit Grove Dressed to Impress Mother's Day Card - CASE the Catalog Friday Mini Catalog Edition

Hi crafty people! It's finally the weekend, but that doesn't have the same meaning that is did just a couple months ago. I hope you are staying well and that all this quarantining will soon be over with. I hope I am inspiring you with all the projects I have been posting. Let's get onto today's card.....

Pg. 7 of the 2020 Mini Catalog

I fell in love with not only this bundle but also this card from the 2020 Mini catalog. I first started by die cutting the Petal Pink strips. I glued them down to the Grapefruit Grove base spacing them every 3/8". Next I stamped and heat embossed in gold the flowers and the perfume bottle and die cut them all out. I used the solid stamps to stamp the insides of all the flowers by stamping off the ink one time to give a lighter look. I did the same for the perfume bottle too.

I glued down all the flowers around the card front making sure some would be tucked under the bottle. I popped up the bottle using Dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Coastal Cabana and then die cut this piece too. I popped it up as well and placed it across the perfume bottle. I took the Light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend and colored some of the Pearls and placed them on the card front.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by embossing more flowers in opposite corners and stamping them like I did for the ones on the front.
