Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Grapefruit Grove Ornate Garden Thanks Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Welcome crafty people! How was your weekend? My 1st grandson turned one this past Friday and I got to spend some time with him in the mists of all this quarantine. I did make my husband and I some face masks for when we need to go out as the numbers here are slowly rising. How is it where you are? Today for you I have a special treat.....another blog hop! Stampin' Up! demos from around the globe have come together to inspire you. Here is my card.....

This week I am focusing on the retiring 2018-2020 In Color Grapefruit Grove. I also wanted to show the new suite from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual catalog you can get right now. I have been making more and more thank you cards to share with all the essential workers in our area. I started with stamping the flower and coloring it with the Stampin' Blends. I die cut it out and set it aside.
Next, I embossed a piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock and wrapped a piece of the Old Olive ribbon around it. I glued this piece to my card base. I popped the die cut stamped piece over the ribbon using Dimensionals. I heat embossed my Thanks sentiment, die cut it out and glued it to the bottom corner. I placed a few of the Gilded Gems around the front as well.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping my sentiment and some corner flourishes in two opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and don't forget to continue on with the hop below. I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.
