Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Pineapple Punch Above the Clouds Uplifting Card

Hello crafty people! We are halfway through the week. How are you all holding up? Our temps are steadily rising which has been nice, because my husband and I can go out a walk more often. What are you doing to keep your sanity right now? I know it has been hard for a lot of people which is why I have been posting more often to help with the everyday mundane. Let's get to today's card.....

I wanted to use a stamp set from the annual catalog and decided on the Above the Clouds stamp and punch bundle. I also love using DSP (Designer Series Paper) to stamp on. In this case I used the design for the hot air balloon and then punched it out. I stamped the basket on a piece of Crumb Cake and punched it out as well.

I die cut the rectangle piece first and stamped both the clouds and sentiment. Then I die cut the Ornate Frame and glued the rectangle piece onto it. I put the hot air balloon on with Dimensionals. I embossed the Whisper White layer using the Corrugated 3D folder and glued it down to the card base. I then glued down the balloon layer. I added some sequins for embellishments.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some hot air balloons in opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
