Meant to Be Valentine's Day Love Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Hello crafty people! How was your weekend? I spent mine in pain as I slept on my neck wrong and with having severe neck and back issues I could barely move my neck and shoulders for most of the weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful too and felt a lot like Spring is going to start, but today we have a winter storm warning so go figure.
Today for you I have a fun blog hop featuring Stampin' Up! demos from around the world. You will get to see amazing projects that will inspire you to try something new or give you a little crafty mojo if you are in a rut right now. Here is my card.....

I decided to use a stamp and die sets from the Annual catalog to create my Valentine's Day card. I used the Meant to Be stamps and Stitched Be Mine dies. For the background layer I used the new Stone embossing folder from the Power of Hope bundle in the new Sale-A-Bration catalog that you can earn for free with a qualifying order. You take the embossing folder and swipe an ink pad across the side that is raised. Then you place your cardstock inside and emboss as normal. The results are spectacular!!!

I watercolored the front layer with the Aqua Painter and Lovely Lipstick ink refill. When I had the look I was going for I set it aside to let it dry. I die cut out the larger heart in Gold Foil paper and the smaller ones in Whisper White cardstock. I also die cut the "love" from Rose Glimmer paper and placed it onto the two hearts. Though a little hard to see in the pics I did die cut the multi heart die using Vellum cardstock and placed it behind everything.

I had this card intended for someone in particular so I didn't want to use an envelope so I decided to decorate one of the Copper Dotted Treat bags, cards fit in them perfectly. I used the same stamp and die sets and added some White Tulle ribbon.

For the inside I stamped a sentiment along with some hearts down in the bottom corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used in my card today I have them all listed below. Just click on the items to be taken to my online store. Also, continue on with the blog hop to see projects from demos around the globe to see some great inspiration. Have a great day!!!

Hugs,

Julie
