Beauty Abounds Watercolor Thank You Card - Kylie's International Highlights

Hi crafty people and welcome to my blog!!! How is your Monday? Did you have a good weekend? My husband watch the Super Bowl and I spent the day in my craft room working on projects for my blog the next few weeks. Did you do anything crafty? Today I have a treat as I am taking part in Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights and you get to pick your top 5. Here is my card.....

I really love the Beauty Abounds stamp set and dies. Last month my team leader gave us a color challenge using Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, and Basic Black. I decided to use this set as I had done this technique a year ago with different colors and I thought it would be really pretty with these.
I decided to do a watercoloring with the first two colors and let them blend together. It is a pretty easy technique to do too. You just take a piece of the Fluid Watercolor paper, reinkers, and an Aqua Painter. I put a few drops of each color onto a clear block, then I took the Aqua Painter and starting with the light color first I just put several drops into the paper. I did the same thing with the other color and let the colors blend together. After it dried I die cut it out and the also the Basic Black piece and glued the two together.

I embossed the Whisper White layer with the Scripty 3D folder and wrapped a piece of the Black Glittered Organdy ribbon around it. I added some Basic Rhinestones around the butterflies.

For the inside I simply stamped some of the bubbles and a butterfly in the lower corner and the Thanks sentiment as well. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card I have them all listed below for you. Just click the item you want to be taken to my online store. Also if you click on the Vote For Me button below you will be taken to Kylie's blog where you can vote for my card and others!!!
Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and I hope you vote for me. I hope you try this fun technique on your net crafty project. Have a great day!!!

Hugs,

Julie
