Forever Blossoms Friend Card - CASE the Catalog Friday Mini Catalog Edition

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day! Are you ready for the weekend? We are supposed to have amazing weather so maybe a bit of outside time and sunshine is what I need to shake off these Winter Blues. Do you get this? I need it to leave because it's messing with my crafty mojo. That's one of the reasons why I love CASE'ing the catalogs. I just look through them and pick a project I would love to try, just like today's card.....

Pg. 16 of the 2020 Mini Catalog
One thing you need to realize when looking at all the projects in the catalogs and figuring out what was used is due to the photography process all the projects will appear brighter and lighter in the catalogs. When you look at my card verses the catalog one, mine looks a lot darker and that is due to the lighting conditions they use to take the pics for the catalogs. Another fun part about being a demonstrator is with each new catalog release Stampin' Up! shares with us a list of all the projects and the products used on them. I love this!

I first stamped the flower onto a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using Soft Suede ink. Then I used the Watercolor pencils to color the flowers and the leaves. I used the Blender pen to even out the pencil marks. I then took the White pencil and added highlight to the flowers. I die cut the sentiment and added it to the front along with a piece of Vellum that I embossed first.

For the inside I stamped a flower and some leaves in the corner and my sentiment up top. This card makes an amazing wedding card to the new couple. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card I have them all listed below. Just click on the items to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today to see my card. I hope I have inspired you to look at the catalogs as a great source of ideas and inspiration when you are maybe having some lack of crafty mojo of what to make next. Have a great day!

Hugs,

Julie
