Celebrate Sunflowers Loved Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Hello crafty people!!! How is your week starting out? We have been having some bad wind and it's causing big fires here in Arizona. We are far from any right now but that of course could change at a moment's notice. Today I have a fun treat for you all, a blog hop!! Demonstrators from around the world have come together to share their projects and give you tons of inspiration. Let's get on to my card.....

When I first saw the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle I knew I needed to get it. Sunflowers remind me of my grandmother who passed away almost 15 years ago, because she decorated her kitchen in them so they always have a special place in my heart. I wanted to do something a little different so I thought why not blues? I grabbed the two blue In Colors Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight stamp pads, which are beautiful together, and created this very simple card.

I stamped the sunflower and die cut it and the outline out. I glued the two together but only in the middle. I also die cut some of the leaf pieces from some Vellum. I cut a strip of the 20-22 In Colors 6"x 6" DSP (Designer Series Paper) and glued to my card base. I then started gluing down the Vellum pieces, cutting a couple to get the desired look and then popped my sunflower on top. I stamped my sentiment in the upper corner and some of the 2020 In Color Enamel Dots in the lower one.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by just stamping the smaller sunflower stamp in opposite corners leaving plenty of room for a nice message. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Don't forget to continue on in the hop and see some amazing projects. Have a great day.
Hugs,

Julie
