Celebrate Sunflowers Thanks Card - CASE the Catalog Friday New Catalog Edition

     Hello crafty people! How are you all doing? It has been a long week and I am so glad the weekend is finally here. I have a special treat today as it's the first Friday after the new Stampin' Up! catalog was released so I have my very first CASE from it. Here is my card.....

     When I was looking for a project for today, the minute I saw this one I knew I wanted to CASE it. I fell in love with the coloring of it. It's actually a pretty easy card to make. I first started by stamping the sunflowers in Sahara Sand. Then I took the Crushed Curry watercolor pencil and colored the base and move up to about 2/3rds of the leaves. Next, I took the white watercolor pencil and colored the tops of all the leaves. I then took the first pencil and blended the two colors together. This creates the blending effect between the two colors.

      When I was done I heat embossed the sentiment onto some Basic Black cardstock. I die cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle dies. I tied a piece of the Crinkle Whisper White ribbon around this layer and glued the whole thing onto my card base, I popped the sentiment up with Dimensionals and added some Gold Glitter Enamel dots around the card front.

     For the inside I kept it pretty simple by just stamping a some of the smaller sunflower in opposite corners. I layered this piece onto a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock for added color.
