Forever Fern Wedding Love Card - CASE the Catalog Friday on Monday

Hello crafty people!!! I wanted this post to go up last Friday as it is the last one from the current catalog, but due to a severe migraine that didn't happen so it is going up today. Here is today's card.....

I am loving working with new catalog products which is why the minute I saw this card in the catalog I thought that it would be perfect for the Forever Fern stamp set. I decided to turn my card into a horizontal one to work with my chosen sentiment. I first made the background by using a piece of the Watercolor paper. I stamped the leaves onto the paper then I took a Stampin' Spritzer filled with water and sprayed the paper causing the ink to spread and run some. I set it aside to dry.

Next, I stamped the large leaf onto some Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped my sentiment on top of the leaf. I die cut this out using the Stitched Nested dies. I cut a piece of Vellum just a little smaller then my Watercolor paper and attached it where my sentiment piece was going to hide the adhesive. I took some of the ribbon combo and placed it behind. I popped my sentiment piece up with Dimensionals and placed a wooden leaf from the In Good Taste Elements in the corner.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some the beautiful foliage in opposite corners.
