Butterfly Gala Better with You Card

Image
Hi everyone! How are you all holding up? Our Governor announced yesterday that all schools are out for the rest of the school year. Even though we don't have kids at home anymore a lot of our neighbors do and I can see how stressed the parents are. I'm helping by putting together little crafting kits for the kids to do and they are loving them too. Let's get onto today's card.....

Hello crafty people. Are you still under quarantine? Our schools are still out until April 13th. I know it always gets worse before it gets better, but at least this week we are supposed to get into the lower 70's so some nice warmer weather will be nice. What is the weather like where you live? Let's get onto today's card.....

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Are you hanging in there? So far, so good here. We do live in a pretty rural area so that's keeping us safe, but still taking all the precautions. Yesterday we went to the store for an elderly neighbor who has severe lung issues and definitely shouldn't leave his house. I have decided to make cards for a local nursing home since they are on complete lockdown and family or friends can't visit. I thought it would bring some sunshine to them all. Let's get onto today's card.....      This is actually a pretty simple card that looks like it is so much harder to make then it is.  I only used one color of cardstock and ink pad. I created the background by first taking the ink pad and rubbing it onto the inside top of the embossing folder. You can make it as light or dark as you want. Then put your piece of cardstock into it and run it through your die cutting machine. And the fun part is every piece will be different. Tip...al

Hi crafty people! Did you have a good weekend? We are still under quarantine here and it was announce that kids will be out of school for an additional 2 weeks, which means that after this week they will be out for 2 more weeks. Our school year ends the Friday before Memorial Day so there isn't much left. Thank goodness we don't have any kids at home anymore, but I feel sorry for the parents that still have to work. Hopefully, this all comes to an end soon. Let's get on to today's card.....

Peaceful Moments Special Day Card - CASE the Catalog Friday Mini Catalog Edition

Hello crafty people! How has your week been going? I know a lot of us are social distancing ourselves right now to protect not only ourselves but also our families from COVID-19. Because of my back/neck issues and the fact that I was very recently on steroids, which lowered y immune system, I was advised to pretty much stay home. I don't mind very much as that just means I get to craft more. I hope you are all well and prayers and hugs to all affected by this pandemic. Let's get onto today's card.....

Hello again!  How is your week going so far? It's raining here and expected to do so for a couple of days. We really do need the rain as last years monsoon season was very dry. I don't mind the rain and actually very much enjoy listening to it, it's just the pressure changes cause more pain for me. On days like this I usually just take it a little more easy. Under My Umbrella Friend Card - CASE the Catalog Friday Mini Catalog Edition

Hello everyone! How has your weekend gone? This post was supposed to go up last Friday but didn't for some reason so here it is today. I got to spend yesterday with my son, daughter in law and my almost 11 month old grandson. We went to Flagstaff to have my son's car fixed and spent the day there. It was a lot of fun! I am so looking forward to Spring, though we still have some pretty cold nights my rose bushes have determined that it is time to bloom. So in honor of them I decided to CASE some Spring cards from the 2020 Mini catalog. Here are my cards.....

Hello crafty people! How is your week going so far? I have been fighting a sore throat. I had something call Quinsy and Tonsillitis when I was 9 and it was pretty traumatic so I never have liked getting sore throats since then. I'm hoping this passes quick. I'm hardly ever sick as we don't have school kids at home anymore and I don't work outside of the home either. I always get my flu shot each year though just in case. Let's get onto today's card.....
