Parisian Love Amour Card

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Are you hanging in there? So far, so good here. We do live in a pretty rural area so that's keeping us safe, but still taking all the precautions. Yesterday we went to the store for an elderly neighbor who has severe lung issues and definitely shouldn't leave his house. I have decided to make cards for a local nursing home since they are on complete lockdown and family or friends can't visit. I thought it would bring some sunshine to them all. Let's get onto today's card.....

This is actually a pretty simple card that looks like it is so much harder to make then it is.  I only used one color of cardstock and ink pad. I created the background by first taking the ink pad and rubbing it onto the inside top of the embossing folder. You can make it as light or dark as you want. Then put your piece of cardstock into it and run it through your die cutting machine. And the fun part is every piece will be different. Tip...always use a darker ink to the cardstock you decide to use.
For the vellum piece I first die cut it into an oval then ran it through in the Scripty embossing folder. Vellum looks so beautiful when it is embossed. I placed the Eiffel tower die on top and placed the whole layer onto my card. I stamped my sentiment, die cut it out and then placed some ribbon behind it. To finish I embellished my card with the rhinestones.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a sentiment and layering it onto a piece of Coastal Cabana. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
