Butterfly Gala Better with You Card

Hi everyone! How are you all holding up? Our Governor announced yesterday that all schools are out for the rest of the school year. Even though we don't have kids at home anymore a lot of our neighbors do and I can see how stressed the parents are. I'm helping by putting together little crafting kits for the kids to do and they are loving them too. Let's get onto today's card.....

I first started with heat embossing the butterflies onto a piece of Vellum and then I punched them out. For the background I stamped the Bokeh stamp and then used the Rectangle Stitched dies to die cut it out. Next, I cut another piece of Vellum and embossed it with the Scripty embossing folder. I think that Vellum is beautiful when embossed.

I cut and placed a piece of the Peaceful Poppies DSP (Designer Series Paper) and put in onto a Whisper White card base. When I glued down the Vellum I made sure it was only where the butterfly piece would be as to not show through. I then cut a piece of the ribbon and glued it down to the vellum. I put Dimensionals on the butterfly layer and placed it on the ribbon.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a sentiment and a butterfly in the lower corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
