Ride with Me Easter Egg Card
Hi crafty people! Did you have a good weekend? We are still under quarantine here and it was announce that kids will be out of school for an additional 2 weeks, which means that after this week they will be out for 2 more weeks. Our school year ends the Friday before Memorial Day so there isn't much left. Thank goodness we don't have any kids at home anymore, but I feel sorry for the parents that still have to work. Hopefully, this all comes to an end soon. Let's get on to today's card.....
I wanted to make an Easter card, but wanted something a little different. Back in Oct 2019 I created a cute Halloween card using the Ride with Me bundle and a Paper Pumpkin element. So the thought of using the same bundle popped into my head and when I saw the balloons I wondered if I could make eggs out of them. I have to admit that it came out cuter then I imagined!
I first stamped the balloons twice and took the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and made various lines and squiggles to look like Easter eggs. I then took the Stampin' Blends to color them all in. Once done I die cut them out and arranged them behind the bed of the truck hiding the strings and making it look like the bed is full of Easter eggs.
For the inside I simply stamped a grass border along the bottom and my sentiment towards the top. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to look at your stamps a little differently and to reimagine what they can be used for. Hope you have a great day and you are staying well. If you need any help with placing a Stampin' Up! order, I am here to help!
