Dandelion Wishes Watercolor Friend Card

Hello again!  How is your week going so far? It's raining here and expected to do so for a couple of days. We really do need the rain as last years monsoon season was very dry. I don't mind the rain and actually very much enjoy listening to it, it's just the pressure changes cause more pain for me. On days like this I usually just take it a little more easy. Let's get on to today's card.....

One of my fave color combos is yellow and gray and thought that the Dandelion Wishes stamp set would be perfect for it. I first started by heat embossing onto a piece of Fluid Watercolor Paper the dandelion stamp. I find I get a crisper white and it shows me where I need to put the watercolor. Next, I took the Aqua Painter and the So Saffron ink pad and watercolored around the heat embossing.

Once I was happy with the look, I placed it onto a layer of Smoky Slate cardstock. I wrapped a piece of the Whisper White Tulle around on one side and placed my friend die cut along with the butterfly onto my card. I placed this whole layer onto my card base.

For the inside I stamped some of the florets in two corners and my sentiment as well. I put this layer onto a piece of So Saffron cardstock for some more color. If you would like to purchase any of the items I have used in this card, I have listed them all down below for you. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today. Remember to come back on Friday for another CASE the Friday project. This week I will be featuring the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Hope you have a great day!!!
Hugs,

Julie
