Painted Poppies Friend Card

Hey crafty people! I'm back again with another card I made to help us deal with this quarantine. As I had stated yesterday I have decided to put up more blog posts to help inspire you to do something crafty to help us all get through this. Here is today's card.....

I wanted to make a pretty simple card, but with a little pizzazz so I decided to use one of my fave color combos.....red, black, and white. I love the contrast between these colors. Now because the dies for this bundle are on backorder right now, I decided to just use the stamp set for my card to show you that you don't always need to use the dies.

I first started with heat embossing the flowers onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock. I also heat embossed one of the little butterfly's from the Butterfly Gala stamp set onto a piece of Vellum and punched it out. I embossed a piece of Whisper White using the Corrugated 3D embossing folder. I then wrapped a piece of Poppy Parade ribbon around the layer. I embellished with some of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a sentiment and another flower bunch in the corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
