Yet Another Butterfly Card

Image
Welcome, welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a great day to far. Today, I have another butterfly card for you using the Butterfly Basics stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the Butterflies Thinlits that I used on my Big Shot to cut out. I first used a piece of So Saffron and cut it in half to make the card base. I then cut a piece of Calypso Coral to 5-1/4" x 4" and a piece of Whisper White to 5" x 3-3/4". I first stamped the leaves from the stamp set in Pear Pizzazz on the piece of Whisper White. Next, I stamped the honeycomb in So Saffron in the upper left corner and the date stamp in early Espresso on top. Then I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral in the lower right corner under the leaves. Now onto the butterflies. I stamped the twp smaller butterflies onto a piece of Whisper White. I then punched the smallest butterfly out. Next, I used my Big Shot to cut out the large butterfly in both Lost Lagoon and Vellum. Then I adhered the layers together and

Hello and welcome to my blog! Happy Monday to you all. Today I have a card for you using the Butterfly Basics again. I am in LOVE with this stamp and die set. It has been my number one right now and I really hope that both items are not retired and are brought back in the new catalog. I first started with stamping the border on the side in Lost Lagoon. Then I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow keeping the stem together some what but fanning out the leaves. Next I stamped the sentiment at the top in Tangelo Twist. Now on to the die cutting. Using my Stampin' Up! Big Shot I first stamp the butterfly in Hello Honey then I die cut it out with the Butterflies Thinlits dies. Then I stamp the smaller butterfly on the paper and punch it out using the Bitty Butterfly punch. I then attach the two butterflies using Stampin' Dimensionals. The front then gets adhered to the card base of Tangelo Twist. I then added the cute little trial behind the smaller butterfly. Here are the details:

I have, however, come up with a posting schedule for this blog and it will be a new post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with an occasional Saturday. This way I am on a organized schedule that I can pre-post for and not worry when life comes calling for me. So expect a new post tomorrow morning about 6am PST.      Today I have a treat for you as yesterday I received my Butterflies Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up!. I am so excited to use them and play around with the different dies. I had already ordered the Butterfly Basics stamp set from Stampin' Up! so I had everything I needed to make this really cute card. Next, I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow onto the Whisper White and then I
