Out of the Box Stamping

 Hey crafty people!!! It's almost the weekend.....do you have any plans? I.can't believe it is almost the 1st. Boy did time go by fast. And you know what that means....that it's almost time for the new Stampin' Up! catalog. Here is my card using new products.....

   Hi everyone! Is your week starting out good? Here in the USA yesterday was our Memorial Day in which we honor our military that have passed. It often marks the beginning of Summer too. The warmer weather is nice as well. Let's get to today's fun project.....      The pic above is a sample of the cards you get to make with May's Paper Pumpkin kit, but I also decided to show you some alternatives that I came up with using the same components and a few other pieces. Here they are.....      For this card I used the rainbow card base and embossed a piece of Purple Posy cardstock and placed it on top. Next I used the rainbow piece and glued it on as well. I stamped the sentiment onto the medium cloud and used Dimensionals to pop it up. I tied a bow and placed some of the decorative elements on too.    For this card I used the Just Jade card base and cut it to 4"x 5-1/4". I glued it to my Bumble Bee card base at an angle.    Welcome crafty people! It's Julie here with another card using the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors as part of my Farewell Tour and it's almost over!!! I'm on my last color, Blueberry Bushel, this week. If you have missed any of my other posts using all the other retiring colors check out past posts on this blog. Let's get onto today's fun card.....

 Hi everyone! Has your week started ok? I know that some places are starting to open around the country in phases. Our state is holding out until May 15th and local stores are still taking all the precautions for now. I am continuing my Farewell Tour this week of the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors and this is my final one. Here is today's card.....    This is a pretty simple card. I first started with stamping the background with the Buffalo Check stamp. I glued this layer to my card base. I then die cut the poppy outline in Seaside Spray and the base in Blueberry Bushel. I offset the outline a bit and glued in place. I die cut the center piece in Basic Black and glued it on as well.    I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2-1/4"x 4" and stamped my sentiment in the lower corner. I then put some Dimensionals on the back of the poppy piece and placed it next to the sentiment. I added some rhinestones as embellishments in the upper corner.      For the inside

   Hello crafty people! I can't believe we are already in May. Where has the year gone? I know that for most of it we have been practicing social distancing, but to me I can't believe summer is almost here. Any plans this summer? If you don't follow my blog, each Friday I share a project that I CASE'd from one of the Stampin' Up! catalogs. And because I am also doing a farewell tour of the retiring In Colors I combined the two together. Here is today's card.....
