May Paper Pumpkin Kit Featuring the New In Colors and My Alternatives

   Hi everyone! Is your week starting out good? Here in the USA yesterday was our Memorial Day in which we honor our military that have passed. It often marks the beginning of Summer too. The warmer weather is nice as well. Let's get to today's fun project.....
     The pic above is a sample of the cards you get to make with May's Paper Pumpkin kit, but I also decided to show you some alternatives that I came up with using the same components and a few other pieces. Here they are.....
     For this card I used the rainbow card base and embossed a piece of Purple Posy cardstock and placed it on top. Next I used the rainbow piece and glued it on as well. I stamped the sentiment onto the medium cloud and used Dimensionals to pop it up. I tied a bow and placed some of the decorative elements on too.

   For this card I used the Just Jade card base and cut it to 4"x 5-1/4". I glued it to my Bumble Bee card base at an angle. I took the smaller rainbow like die cut and using the Duet Butterfly punch punched out three butterflies. I stamped my sentiment onto the white banner and placed the butterflies around the card front. I tied some of the twine around the card and placed some of the embellishments around too.

    For my final card, I used the Purple Posy card base. I punched some balloons from both of the rainbow papers and tied some twine onto them. I placed the medium and small clouds around the balloons and used Dimensionals to pop some up. I stamped my sentiment onto the Bumble Bee banner and glued it down. I placed more of the embellies around the front too.

Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies. By combining it with the Well Said Bundle I'm telling my loved one that our love was written in the stars.      I heat embossed the background first then watercolored it.      Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far. Today I have a special post for you...an Aim for Alaska new Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek Blog Hop!
