Daisy Lane Smile Friend Card

Hello crafty people. Are you still under quarantine? Our schools are still out until April 13th. I know it always gets worse before it gets better, but at least this week we are supposed to get into the lower 70's so some nice warmer weather will be nice. What is the weather like where you live? Let's get onto today's card.....

I was inspired to make this card from a pattern on a box of tissues. Plus I have always loved the yellow/gray combo. I first stamped the larger daisy stamp onto a piece of So Saffron using the same ink color and punched them out. For the medium daisy I heat embossed in both the Clear and Shimmer White embossing powders and punched these out as well. I layered and glued two of the larger ones together and then glued the two white ones on top.

I stamped the stem onto a piece of Whisper White lining up with where I wanted the flower. I glued the flower into place at the top of the stem. I embossed the Smoky Slate layer using the Scripty embossing folder. Next, I stamped my sentiment, die cut it out and placed it onto my card. I added some of the Gold Faceted Gems onto the flower and in the opposite corner.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping a couple of the daisies in opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
