Peaceful Moments Special Day Card - CASE the Catalog Friday Mini Catalog Edition
Hello crafty people! How has your week been going? I know a lot of us are social distancing ourselves right now to protect not only ourselves but also our families from COVID-19. Because of my back/neck issues and the fact that I was very recently on steroids, which lowered y immune system, I was advised to pretty much stay home. I don't mind very much as that just means I get to craft more. I hope you are all well and prayers and hugs to all affected by this pandemic. Let's get onto today's card.....
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to not only look at the Stampin' Up! catalogs as just a sales catalog, but also as a great source of ideas and inspiration for your next crafting project. Don't forget to come back on Monday as I have a special Easter card I made using a non-Easter stamp set. Have a great weekend!!!

The one thing I love most about this card is the fact that the background is simply just a piece of the Peaceful Poppies DSP (Designers Series Paper). That makes creating this card simple and fast. All you need to do is add some embellishments and your card is complete. The Peaceful Poppies Elements that I used on this card are perfect for this.
I used some of the vellum pieces and colored them using the Stampin' Blends. When coloring vellum make sure you do it on the backside of the vellum piece as it gives a better look to it and more of a muted appearance. Also because the pieces have a white embossing on front, coloring the back won't cover this up.
For the inside I simply stamped one of the stems and a poppy in the lower corner. This allows plenty of space for your heartfelt message. If you would like to purchase any of the items I have used in this card, I have listed them all down below for you. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to not only look at the Stampin' Up! catalogs as just a sales catalog, but also as a great source of ideas and inspiration for your next crafting project.
