Hippo Happiness Hi Friend Butterfly Card - Made My Own DSP

Hello crafty people!!! How are you all doing today? Is your summer starting out pretty good? Our temps are rising again so the days are getting hotter. Today I have a special card so let's get onto it.....

When you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and you reach one million in sales you get to design a special stamp set. The one I used today, Hippo Happiness, was created by my team leader Robyn Cardon. I was so excited to use this for the first time that I decided to make my own DSP (Designer Series Paper) with the butterfly. I started with stamping all the butterfly outlines in black then I stamped the inside piece in three different colors.

For one of the butterflies I stamped the trail behind it. I placed this layer onto a piece of Bumblebee cardstock and I wrapped the ribbon around it. I heat embossed my sentiment on black cardstock and then flagged one end. I popped it up with Dimensionals. I placed this whole piece onto a Magenta Madness card base.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by just stamping a butterfly in one corner and some sparkles in the opposite corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Have a great day.
Hugs,

Julie
