Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Grapefruit Grove Little Elephant Thank You Card

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I am giving you more inspiration to do something creative. I am continuing my Farewell to the retiring In Colors with another project. This week I am focusing on the color Grapefruit Grove. Let's get onto my card.....

Even though the stamp set Little Elephant looks like a baby/kid set it can be used in so many other ways like I did with a thank you card. I have been making more of these types of cards to share with the essential workers who are putting themselves at risk to help make our lives a little easier during this pandemic.

I started with stamping the elephant and punching it out. I stamped the heart next and die cut it out allowing for my elephant to be positioned next to it. I glued this layer to the Soft Sea Foam die cut. I embossed the Grapefruit Grove layer at an angle using the Corrugated 3D folder. I placed a Pearlized Doily on and placed the elephant layer on top.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some of the flowers from the stamp set in the bottom corner. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
