A Big Thank You Simple Thank You Card

Welcome crafty people! It's almost the weekend. I know we are mostly still quarantined, but do you have any special plans? My husband and I usually go for a little hike on the weekends so I'm looking forward to that. It's nothing hilly or long, but a nice walk and along the trail there is a bald eagle pair in a nest that is neat to see. Let's get to today's card.....

This was actually a pretty simple card to make. It only uses two colors for both the ink pads and cardstock. I started with die cutting the Thank You from the Tropical Oasis DSP (Designer Series Paper) and also in Whisper White. I glued the two together off setting the white a little for a fun  contrast. I then embossed a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Basket Weave embossing folder and popped the Thank You up with Dimensionals. I placed this layer onto another piece  of Whisper White cardstock.

I then stamped the sentiment onto a small piece of cardstock and banner cut one end of it. I glued to one side of the card. I decided to stamp in the same color ink some flowers around the edge of the card base and then glued the whole layer, at an angle, onto the card base. I wrapped a piece of Linen thread around the card front and tired a big bow. I also placed some red rhinestones around as well.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some of the same flowers in opposite corners and a cute sentiment. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
