Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Grapefruit Grove Music From The Heart Thank You Card
Hi crafty people! We are halfway through the week. Since the quarantine my husband refers to Wednesday as Saturday 3, because every day feels like a Saturday except for Sunday.....it get's to keep being Sunday. Lol. Let's get onto my card.....
I got the idea for this card from another card I made several years ago with my Cricut. I have an incredible love for music, have for all my life. I also learned that it helps with my chronic pain. If I'm having a really bad day I put my headphones on, turn it up load and let the bass drown out the pain. Which is why I really love this stamp set.
I heat embossed the large treble clef, die cut it out, and layered it. I took one of the Blender pens and the Grapefruit Grove ink and lightly colored in the heart. Next, I stamped the different notes all over the background layer. I placed this layer onto a piece of Gold Foil and then onto my card base. I stamped my sentiment and glued it to the embossed piece. I used the Blender pen to ink around the edge.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some of the notes from the stamp set in opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.
