A Farewell Tour of the 2018-2020 In Colors: Lovely Lipstick - Floral Essence Friend Card

Hi crafty people! How are you all holding up? I know that things have to get worse before it can get better so I'm just going to keep showing you projects and posting them on my blog everyday Monday-Friday to help inspire and maybe give you a smile each day. Let's get onto today's card.....

I wanted to do something pretty simple, but with a touch of something something so I decided to do some heat embossing. This Floral Essence stamp set and punch make it easy to create beautiful cards without much effort. One tip is to stamp and emboss the flowers first and then punch them out. This makes it easier to line everything up. You need to punch two for each flower.
The Best Dressed DSP (Designer Series Paper) was perfect for my card so I cut a piece for the bottom. I stamped my sentiment in the upper right corner. I wrapped a piece of the White Flax ribbon around the whole piece and glued it onto a Lovely Lipstick card base. I popped the two flowers onto my card using Dimensionals.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping some of the same flowers in opposite corners. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you, while we are all in quarantine, to try something crafty today! Have a great day.

Hugs,

Julie
