Wildly Happy Elephants Baby Girl Card - Kylie's International Blog Highlights
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog post! Today I have a special treat as once again it's Kylie's International Blog Highlights where you get to vote for your 5 fave projects and I hope one of them is mine! Here is my card.....
This stamp set is so adorable and just makes the cutest baby cards. I wanted to try the elephant one for this card and colored them with the Stampin' Blends. I used mainly the Gray Granite combo, but for the really shadowed areas I used the Dark Smoky Slate one.
I layered the elephants onto a piece of Gray Granite that I die cut for a cute scalloped frame. I also embossed the background with the Tufted Embossing Folder which, to me, looks like a big fluffy blanket. I put this whole piece onto some Silver Glimmer paper adding some extra sparkle. I placed sequins around the whole thing.
I kept the inside very simple by just stamping a sentiment and the outline of the elephants in the same Petal Pink color. I also added a Gray Granite layer to make it pop some. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this really cute card they are listed below. Just click on the pics and you will be taken to my shopping page.
