Royal Peacock Congrats Card - CASE the Catalog Friday

   Hello crafty people! Can you believe that this weekend is the last weekend of Summer? Where did it all go? Where I live they have what is called the Sweet Corn Festival this weekend. There is usually a rodeo, and a lot of good food. Not sure yet if we will be going. Do you have an plans for the last weekend of Summer??? Here is today's card.....

     It's Friday again and you know what that means.....CASE the Catalog Friday!!! As I said last week from now until the end of the Holiday catalog I will be alternating each week with the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog and the new 2019 Holiday Catalog which will be available for viewing on Sept 4th. This peacock suite has been very popular.....the stamp and dies, the amazing DSP (Designer Series Paper) and the gorgeous Foil papers and most of these things are used on this card.

   I used Watercolor paper and Old Olive with an Aqua Painter to make the background. Then I heat embossed it with the Gold Emboss Powder. For the flowers, I stamped them then used the Aqua Painter to pull some of the ink into the petals. For the word "Congratulations" I masked off the parts of this particular stamp with washi tape then inked it on the Versamark ink pad. Then you pull the washi tape off and stamp where desired.

   For the inside I did the exact same thing with the flower stamp as I did on the front. I also layered a piece of Old Olive cardstock behind the Whisper White piece for more color. Here is my card.....      I was inspired to make this card from another card marker. I have always loved the Little Twinkle stamp set and knew that this was more then just for babies.
