Varied Vases Friend Card - CASE the Catalog Friday
Hi everyone! How are you all doing? It's Friday and you know what that means.....I'm CASE'ing the catalog again! I am having a lot of fun each week looking through the catalogs and deciding which project I want to try next. When I saw this card I knew it would give me a little challenge so I had to try it. Here is my card.....
All the stamping, except the background and vase are stamped in Basic Gray and I fussy cut the orchids out. The sentiment is just stamped on Whisper White and I just cut it apart. I did not have a couple of the items they used, and just substituted my own. I did however add the sequins as I thought it gave the card a nice touch.
For the inside I just went with my own design and stamped some of the same background flowers from the front in two of the corners and a sentiment. And there you have a card that any friend would love to have. When you go through the catalogs, look at them as a source of inspiration. There are so many great ideas in there and if you are having any kind of crafty idea block just use any of the ideas to get yourself crafting again.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and if you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card I have listed them all below. Just click on the item you want and you will be taken to my online store. Have a great weekend!

Here is the card I picked
Pg. 60 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog
As demonstrators when each new catalog comes out Stampin' Up! gives us a project list of all the made items in the catalog and what items are used on them. It is an incredibly valuable tool, but the one thing we don't get is the measurements so I had to come up with my own of what I thought they were. For my card I cut the top layer with the background stamping to 3-3/8"x 4-5/8" and the layer underneath to 3-5/8"x 4-7/8" and slightly offset the two.All the stamping, except the background and vase are stamped in Basic Gray and I fussy cut the orchids out. The sentiment is just stamped on Whisper White and I just cut it apart. I did not have a couple of the items they used, and just substituted my own. I did however add the sequins as I thought it gave the card a nice touch.
