Daisy Lane Simple Smile Card
Hi everyone! Only one more day to the weekend! I had some extra back pain yesterday in my mid-back section. There is a compression fracture in that area so sometimes it hurts more depending on my sleep position the night before. And when it hurts the pain wraps around my ribs and all my muscles feel like they are stretched beyond their limits. Not fun. My husband got me some new pain cream that I'm loving so it definitely helped then. How are you doing? Today I have a fun, simple card for you.....
For this card I used both daisy punches, but for the larger daisy I cut it in half and cut one leaf off so I had two pieces with three leaves on one piece and four on the other. Then I took the two pieces and offset them so the leaves on the back piece showed through. I also stamped my own background using the large leaf stamp.
When I was stamping the stem for both daisies I placed the daisies where I wanted them first so I knew where to place the stems. I have made many a mistakes where I thought I knew where the stamp should go and was completely wrong with my spacing so definitely take a couple of moments to make sure.
For the inside I stayed with the simple theme and just stamped a leaf and a daisy in the corners with a cute and simple sentiment. I am really loving this new stamp set, especially since it goes along so well with the continued larger Daisy Punch and Daisy Delight stamp set. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card I have them all listed below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
