Grandma's House New Grandma Baby Girl or Boy Card
Hello crafty people! I'm still on vacation in California and having a wonderful time with family. My niece left yesterday heading to Europe for a month for one of her college classes. They landed in Rome late last night. I'm so jealous, but very excited she gets this chance to travel. Next year she is going to China! On to today's card. I told you that last month I presented some examples to my team leader's Facebook page as part of her design team using the stamp set Grandma's House. Here is another one of those examples.....
First off, I'm so I only have one picture of my cards. I totally forgot to take more pics of them before we left for California. You can get the general idea of them though. I did the same design for each card, but I changed the colors with each one. The boy inspired card uses Seaside Spray and the girl inspired card uses Rococo Rose as the main color. I took a piece of each cardstock and stamped my background by angling the stamp on a diagonal and repeating the pattern across it. I love the way they came out too. I then took a piece of the coordinating ribbon and wrapped it around and placed my sentiment on top. This layer is then popped up on Dimensionals and placed on the card base. I also added some of the sequins from the Woven Threads Assortment to each card in matching colors.
And there you have it! A quick, but really cute card to give to a new grandma. Do you know someone that would like to receive a card like this? I have listed all the items I used to make these cards down below that you can just click on to be taken to my online store.
Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and I hope you return tomorrow for my CASE the Catalog project. Have a great day!
