Delightful Day Bundle Bright All Occasions Card
Hey everyone! How has your week been going so far? Mine has felt nonstop since we got home from our vacation to California. Everyday we have been doing errands or appts. Do you ever need a vacation from your vacation too??? I also can't believe that Summer is almost over, though in some places they are having heat waves right now, usually by the end of August we are starting to cool some and you can tell that Fall is not too far behind.....and I can't wait for it as it is my most fave season of the year! Do you have a fave one? Lets get on to today's card.....
I needed some everyday all occasion cards for various reasons so I decided to use the Delightful Day bundle. I had received the stamp set at OnStage in Salt Lake City back in April and wasn't to sure how I was going to use it. It has a wonderful punch in the bundle that punches the cute top edge of the little tag I made. And just like the Triple Banner Punch it has channels for a 1", 1-1/2", and 2" piece of cardstock.
I did know I wanted my card to be nice and bright so I pulled out this piece of paper from the Bird Ballad DSP (Designers Series Paper) with all the fun colors on it. I used these colors for the rest of my card too. I did heat emboss my front sentiment and then embossed the tag I made with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder. I wanted a little more sparkle too so I layered the DSP onto a piece of Gold Glimmer Paper.
For the inside, I used a piece of the DSP I had cut off as an accent piece on the right side and also added a layer of Daffodil Delight cardstock for more color. I wanted to leave it blank as when I pull this card out to use it will fit almost any occasion.
