Floral Essence For You Card

Hi everyone! It is almost the weekend and our temps are finally warm bordering on too warm! It is finally nice to be able to walk around bare foot.....I hate wearing socks and shoes except during winter. My feet control my body temp and so as long as it is warm outside I am either barefoot or wearing flip flops. How about you? Today for you I have another new stamp set from the new 2019-2020 Annual catalog. Here is my card.....

I kept this card very simple this time. The papers in the Perennial Essence DSP (Designer Series Paper) are so AMAZING! The watercoloring is absolutely beautiful and will be a little hard to cut into. Lol. I cut a thin strip the run down one side of my card and then I ran a piece of the 3/8" Very Vanilla Lace Scallop ribbon on top of it.

For the flower I just stamped Petal Pink onto a piece of Petal Pink cardstock and punched them out a total of 3 times. One tip when using punches to to first look how the design is situated on the punch then stamp the matching design with that in mind. For example with this punch one petal is at the top so each time you stamp the design make sure one petal is pointing up. This way when you punch them you won't have to maneuver your cardstock to make the two match.

For the inside I just stamped one of the flowers a few times in one of the corners. This keeps most of the inside open for a long note to a dear family member or close friend. Society is forgetting about giving or mailing cards to the people you know and love. Give something more then just a text or phone call. Send a handmade card with your handwritten message inside to make their day! If you need help with where to start contact me here and I will help you. Have a great day!!!
Hugs,

Julie
