Daisy Lane Friend Card and Online Class
Hello crafty people! The wildfires here in Arizona have been pretty bad and even though the closest one to us is 2-1/2 hours away we have been hit with a lot of the smoke because of the wind. So for the last couple days my allergies have kicked in full force. My eyes and mouth are dry and my nose and sinuses are completely stuffed up. My prayers are with all those affected and to all the fire personnel fighting them. On to today's project.
The Daisy Lane bundle is becoming so popular because it is a very simple stamp set and punch bundle. I wanted to show you another way you can you this wonderful bundle. Here is my card.....
Earlier this week I sent out a newsletter to let people know that for everyone who orders the Daisy Lane bundle through me I would send them all the supplies needed to make 6 cards (2 cards of 3 designs). I would also include a free online video that you can follow along with me to make the cards. Though this card is not one of the ones in my class I wanted to show what else can be done with this bundle.
Though it is hard to see it in the pictures, I did emboss the Whisper White layer with the new 3D Scripty embossing folder. It gives a little something extra and more texture to the card. The Granny Apple Green piece is cut at 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" and I just simple stamped around on this piece.. I stamped two the the daisies, punched them out, and overlapped them.
The inside is kept very simple with a sentiment and a couple of daisies stamped in opposite corners. Anyone could easily complete this card, even a beginner.
