Good Morning Magnolia Heat Embossed Contrast Hello Friend Card
Hello again crafty people! It's Fri-YAY!!! Ready for the weekend? Any special plans?? We don't, but I'm thinking about getting caught up on a few projects I want to finish. You know those kind of projects that sit in the back of your mind that you know you need to get done someday. Lol. Today's card is using one of the new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 Annual catalog. I have seen a lot of projects made with this stamp set and wanted something a little different. Here is my card.....
I love the contrast of the white embossing powder on the black cardstock. And then a little added color from the DSP (Designer Series Paper) and the Petal Pink cardstock and ribbon. A tip for the embossing is when embossing on a black cardstock is to definitely use the Embossing Buddy, because any stray of white will show up because of the contrast.
I cut a thin strip of the DSP and matted it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped my sentiment and die cut it out and layered it too. I took a piece of the Petal Pink ribbon and folded it in half to place behind the sentiment for an added touch of color.
I kept the inside very simple with some stamped leaves and another sentiment. This allows plenty of room to write your message to the recipient of the card. Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and taking a look at my card. If you want to purchase any of the items I used to make this card they are all listed below. If you have any question please contact me here. And come back on Monday when I will be participating in a blog hop. Come see what myself and demos around the world make. Have a great day!!!
