Pampered Pets Happy Birthday Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop August
Welcome crafty people! Guess what??? I have a fun blog hop for you today with the wonderful people from Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program. Each month several of us from around the world will come together to give you some inspiration and ideas for you to try! Let's get on to today's card.....
Whether you are fond of cats or dogs this stamp and die bundle is just too cute. I started with picking the cat I wanted to use from the DSP and since there isn't a die for this one I just fussy cut it out. I also picked which piece of the Playful Pets DSP (Designer Series Paper) I wanted to use for the strip. I then heat embossed the "Birthday" onto some Basic Black cardstock. I die cut it with the Stitched Nested dies.
I placed a small piece of the Adhesive sheet onto some Whisper White cardstock then die cut the "happy". By using the sheets, it eliminates the need to use glue and it's a lot less messy. I placed it and the cat onto the sentiment piece. For the background, I used a piece of the Plaid Tidings DSP and took a ruler and Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend and made lines in the flannel pattern. This gives it a pop of color. I glued it onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and then onto my card base. I glued the DSP strip on top and then my sentiment piece. Final touch is some rhinestones.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by taking a piece of the flannel paper from the front and gluing it along one side. Then I stamped my sentiment and layered it onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to try something crafty today! Don't forget to continue on with the blog hop to see some amazing projects. Have a great day.
