Beautiful Autumn Friend Card - GDP Challenge #252

Hi everyone!!! One more day and it's the weekend! Any fun plans? I think I'm just going to do some cleaning and then a lot of crafting. I got a new order yesterday from Stmapin' Up! and I want to play with some of the new items from the new Holiday Mini catalog. Have you seen it yet? I got the idea for this card from the challenge site Global Design Project. Each week a new challenge is presented for us to try, this week it is a CASE the Designer and boy is her card gorgeous. I started with watercoloring the background in Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks and set it aside to dry. Next, I stamped the large leaf and die cut it out.

After the watercoloring was dry, I stamped my sentiment and glued this piece to the card base. I glued down a couple of the leaf pieces from the Forever Gold Specialty DSP (Designer Series Paper) and then put the leave on with Dimensionals. I punch the acorns from the Gilded Autumn DSP and glued one to the leaf and popped the other up with a Dimensional. I tucked a bow of the Linen Thread under the acorns and placed some Gilded Gems around the front.

For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping the scattered leaf stamp in opposite corners in Cajun Craze. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below. Just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
