Ornate Style Kindness Card - Color Challenge
Hi everyone!!! How are you all feeling today? I had a bad migraine yesterday which took most of the day to get rid of. Because they are caused by my Degenerative Disc in my neck, the prescription meds you can get for migraines won't work, but Excedrin does thank goodness. It just takes a toll on my stomach. Let's get onto today's card.....
Here are the colors:
I loved doing the color challenge yesterday that my team leader gave us so much that I decided to do another one. I thought the colors would be perfect for the large flowers stamp in the Ornate Style stamp set. What do you think? I started with stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloring it with the Stampin' Blends. When finished, I fussy cut it out and set it aside to finish the rest of the card.
Next, I die cut a piece of Magenta Madness cardstock and then embossed it with the Ornate Floral embossing folder. I also die cut a piece of the 2020-22 In Colors DSP (Designer Series Paper) using the Stitched Rectangle dies and I glued it to my card base. Then I die cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock and wrapped a piece of the Misty Moonlight ribbon around it and glued this in the middle of the first piece. I glued the Magenta Madness piece onto top of this and then put the flower piece on with Dimensionals. For a finishing touch I added some rhinestones.
For the inside I kept it pretty simple by stamping the small flower bunch in Pool Party ink in opposite corners and my sentiment in Magenta Madness ink. I then layered it onto a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have listed them all down below.
