Wonderfully Wicked Halloween Card - CASE The Catalog Friday Holiday Edition

Hello everyone! Can you guess what day it is??? That's right! It's CASE the Catalog Friday Holiday Edition!!! I am having so much fun creating these projects for you all each week. Are you ready for the weekend? I'm going to start going through my Halloween decorations to see what I'm putting up this year. I already have placed my wreath on our front door. Do you decorate for Halloween? Let's get on to today's card.....

Pg. 50 of the Holiday Catalog
Now I don't own the exact stamp and punch set that was used in the original, but that is what is so great. I just really loved the design of it so I decided to do it with the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set instead. I stamped all the images onto a piece of Watercolor paper using Versamark and White Embossing powder. This way when I watercolor the background the embossing powder will resist the ink.
When I watercolor I usually start with the color in the middle and work our both ways so that it has more of an even appearance of each color. I placed this layer onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and wrapped a piece of the Black Glittered Organdy around it. I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with the Timeless Label punch and placed it onto a piece of the Brights 6"x 6" DSP (Designer Series Paper) in Gorgeous Grape. For a cute touch I die cut out the spiders and placed the a round the card and put a Red Rhinestone on one of them.

For the inside I kept it simple and stamped the spider and spider web in one corner and the bats in the opposite corner in colors I used in the  watercoloring. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used make this card I have listed them all below. Just click on the pic of the item you would like and you will be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today! I hope I have inspired you to look at the Annual and Holiday catalog as a great source of inspiration with tons of ideas for color combos, layout designs, and much more! Have a great day and weekend!!!

Hugs,

Julie
