Peaceful Boughs Season's Greeting Holiday Card

Hello everyone! Your week starting out ok? I am loving our cooler weather. Has it changed into Fall yet where you live? This is my most fave season of the year...I love the cooler temps, the leaves changing, and soon the holidays. Speaking of the holidays, if you have looked through the new Holiday catalog you may of seen a new product called Snowfall Accent Puff Paint. This stuff is so neat and fun to watch puff up. This could be so much fun to apply in many different ways! Here is the card I made using the Puff Paint.....

I had actually made the background a couple months ago for another project and had stamped more then one and this one was left over and couldn't just throw it away. When I pulled out this stamp set I thought of this background and knew it would go great for my card. I layered it onto a piece of Soft Suede and then onto a piece of the Gold Glimmer paper.

I die cut the pine cones and the pine branches then taking the puff paint I randomly placed it on one piece at a time. Next, I took my Heat Tool on the high setting and I held it over the areas of the puff paint and watched as the paint begins to puff up. You can add more puff paint to get the look you are after. When I was happy with them I glued them down on my card front.

For the inside I just stamped a pine branch and a pine cone to keep it simple. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make today's card I have them all listed below, just click on any of the pics to be taken to my online store.
Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and I hope you return on Friday as I will have another CASE the Catalog Friday using the Bloom and Grow stamp set. Have a great day!!!

Hugs,

Julie
