Painted Harvest Thankful Simple Card
Hey crafty people! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty quiet. I spent most of it working on projects for upcoming blog posts and classes and getting my decorations . Our weather has been so wonderful, except for the wind which has stirred up my allergies. I've been taking meds for it, but they always dry out my eyes and make me tired. Do you have any allergies? Lets get on to today's card....
This card may look hard to do, but it in fact is super simple! In fact all I used was stamps, ink, paper, and some rhinestones. This stamp set is so amazing because everything is done for you in the development of the stamps...the highlights, shadows and the color combos are endless. Next week I have a card I made with this stamp set that is for Christmas so stay tuned for that.
One tip with this stamp set is I always use the lighter of the two colors I pick for the flowers for the larger background flower stamp and the darker for the smaller of the stamps. This way you get a darker center like in real life flowers. I also used the Dark Soft Suede Blend to color a few rhinestones to place onto the center of the flowers.
For the inside I used the same colors as the card front and stamped the flowers in opposite corners leaving plenty of room to write a note to the recipient. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card, I have them all listed below. Just click on the pic to be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope you return on Wednesday to see what project I make next. Have a great day!!!
