Over the Moon Cow Thinking of You Card
Hello crafty people! Did you all have a good weekend? I spent most of it cleaning my craft room. I got a lot done too! I cleaned my desk top which as made crafting so much more efficient. I was always struggling with not having enough room, which is really funny as my desk is 38"x 7'! So some things got removed or changed around and definitely went through and cleaned everything out. One frustration is when you have these little things that you have no idea where to put them, but you need it. But it's finally all done and I am so happy. I will post pics later this week. Let's get to today's card.....
Believe it on not, but this was the first time I have used this stamp set and I got it back in May! I guess I wasn't sure how I wanted to use it and then this idea just popped into my head and I love the way it has come out. I first started with stamping and coloring the cute cow with my Stampin' Blends. Once I liked what I had I die cut it out using the Layering Ovals and backed it with a scalloped oval in Daffodil Delight.
I used a piece of the Brights 6"x 6" DSP (Designer Series Paper) in Poppy Parade on the front and stamped my sentiment in the lower right corner. I took a piece of the Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon and placed it behind the cow for some added color as well as some rhinestones around the front.
For the inside I used another stamp set, Daisy Delight, for a flower to stamp in the corners. I also used a sentiment from the stamp set too. I always try to keep the inside simple and allowing lots of room for your personal message to a dear friend or family member. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make today's card, just click on the pics below and you will be taken to my online store.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to get out a stamp set you haven't used yet and create something wonderful with it. Have a great day and I'll be back here on Wednesday!
