Gather Together Fall/Autumn Season Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Hey all you crafty people! Did you have a good weekend? Our weather has finally decided to let Fall in. Last year I could feel Fall coming at about the last week of August. This year Summer was holding on for as long as it could, and I can't be happier as I'm tired of not being able to sleep because its too hot. Plus Fall is my fave season of them all!
It's time for another fun blog hop, and sadly the last one with this group, with Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe. What a great way to get some inspiration! With the new Holiday catalog just being released I thought I would share a card I made with the new Gather Together stamp set and dies. Here is my card.....

I have loved using the dies in this set and thought they would look amazing using the Foil paper. I used the Copper Foil for the two little leaves, then I heat embossed the large leaf and pumpkins with the Copper Embossing Powder. Have you tried heat embossing? It is one of my fave techniques!

Though it is hard to tell in the pictures, I embossed the wood background paper from the Come to Gather DSP (Designer Series Paper) with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder for added texture. I also wanted to do something a little different so I turned the two layers in opposite directions to give a more fun look. I then cut a piece of the beautiful Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Pretty Peacock. Did you know this ribbon is available in all the 2019-2021 In Colors?

For the inside I kept it simple by just stamping the leaf in two corners and a nice sentiment. If you would like to purchase any of the items I used to make this card I have them all listed below.
