Piece of Cake Wedding Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Welcome crafty people! It's another month and time for another Blog Hop!!! These hops are so fun because you get to see project ideas from Stampin' Up! demos from around the globe! My card today is featuring the really fun stamp set Piece of Cake. Here is my card....

When I saw this stamp set it brought back a lot of memories of when I used to make cakes, everything from birthdays to weddings. I loved doing it too. I had to quit because it was putting too much stress on my hands and I have already had 1 carpal tunnel surgery. I do still them for family when I can and I do miss it so much. My mother in law taught me and she is gone now and greatly missed.
I loved coloring this cake with the Stampin' Blends! I used the Well Written dies for the "love" word. I wanted it to have some sparkle so I added a piece of the Silver Glimmer paper as a layer. You could easily change this up to match the colors of any wedding. I also put some of the Silver Metallic Thread behind for an added touch.

For the inside I used the the flower topper in the corners and colored them to match the front. I also die cut the heart from the Well Written dies too to bring some sparkle inside too. Thanks so much for coming to my blog today and don't forget to continue down the hop list to see what everyone else has made. Have a great day!

Hugs,

Julie
