Love You to Pieces Missing Piece Love Card
Hi everyone! This post was supposed to go up last Thursday, but for some strange reason it didn't so I thought I would just post it today for you. Believe it or not, but this is the first time I have used this stamp set and dies and I have had it since June of last year. I just never had a chance and I could never come up with a design that I liked with it. Do you have craft supplies like this too??? Well, I am going to challenge you to get it out and do something with it like I did with this stamp and die set. Here is my card.....
I first started with choosing the colors I wanted to use and decided on Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Gorgeous Grape. I knew I wanted to use the cute heart puzzle die with this sentiment so I started with heat embossing the sentiment and then die cutting it out. A tip...if you plan to use this die piece as I have, to make it easier to use I cut out a piece of matching cardstock a little smaller then the heart and glued it to the back to keep the puzzle pieces together and easier to place on the card.
I decided to use a piece of the Brights 6"x 6" DSP (Designers Series Paper) in Daffodil Delight and once I was sure where I was going to put it I marked the card base with a pencil so I would know where to stamp the puzzle piece stamp. I love the look of stamping the ink onto the same color cardstock. When I was happy with the way it looked I glued the Pearlized Doily on top the DSP, and then placed a piece of matching ribbon on that. With Dimensionals on the back I placed my cute heart sentiment on top of everything.
I kept the inside simple as usual and used the same colors as on the front. I again stamped some puzzle pieces along the bottom as well as some hearts right under the sentiment. I was really happy with the way this card came out in the end and can't wait to use this stamp and die set again! Thank you so much for coming to my blog today and I hope I have inspired you to get a crafty item out that you have not used yet and make something fun. Hope you are having a great weekend so far and I will be back on Monday with another fun creation. Have a great day!
