Dragonfly Dreams Friend Watercolored Card - Kylie's Training Blog Hop

Hello crafters! Today I am part of a fun and inspiring blog hop for you. Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the globe have come together again from Kylie's Facebook Demonstrator Training page to bring a lot of fun projects for you to be inspired to by and to get your creative mojo flowing. Stuck in a rut or haven't crafted in awhile? This blog hop will help! Today I have a card using a stamp set from the Annual catalog. Here it is.....

I wanted to dragonflies to be the main standout on my card so I softly watercolored the background. I used the Watercolor Pencils to apply some color to the paper first, then used the Aqua Painter to blend the colors out so I had no harsh lines.

I decided to die cut the dragonfly bunch using the Sparkle Glimmer paper. This added to the softness of my card. I then wound some Silver Metallic thread around my fingers and stuck it to the Dimensionals on the back. Finally I put sequins around the card front and stamped my sentiment.
I kept the colors and the softness I wanted to the inside of my card too. Just some simple stamping and card making, but yet a very elegant card for the perfect friend. I hope you enjoyed my card today and please continue on in our blog hop today, you can see the list below. Thanks for coming and I hope to see you again soon!
Hugs,

Julie
