A Farewell Tour of the 2017-2019 In Colors: Lemon Lime Twist Beautiful You Card
Hi crafty people! Our weather is finally taking a turn towards warm and I am so happy except the plug connected to my blower fan in my car burned up and I have to wait for a new one to show up...perfect timing. Plus it took forever for us to find one because you would think in logical world they would name it Blower Motor Connector, but in some strange other world they made it part of a wiring harness and you don't want to know how much they charge for that! I will have air blowing in my car again in a couple of days, thank goodness!
I told you earlier this week that I am doing a Farewell Tour of the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors with the focus this week on Lemon Lime Twist. So all the cards I am sharing this week have this color in them. Here is today's card.....
I love the Beautiful You stamp set and so thrilled it is continuing into the next annual catalog. If you would like to find out what is retiring, check out my links at the bottom of this post. I used the Stmapin' Blends to color the girl image. To get the poke-a-dot look I used the bullet end of the Dark Lovely Lipstick Blend and very lightly placed dots on the dress.
For my sentiment I made a flag using the Rectangle Stitched Dies. First you stamp your image then die cut it out with one of the desired rectangle dies. Next turn the die so it makes a flag at the end of your rectangle. I included pics to help explain.
For the inside I used another sentiment from the same stamp set to complete my look. Remember that these retiring In Color items are only good while supplies last.....once they are sold out they are gone for good.
